The illustrations in this book are reminiscent of the Bernstein Bears, but rather than telling a full story the writing is a simple, rhyming ABC poem. Not only is it a cute way for a little kiddo to learn their ABC’s, but it will also be a fun way to get them ready for their first day of school. Each page is a letter and an activity that a child can reasonably be expected to participate in during the school day. The poem is simple and cute, while the illustrations have a lot of detail and things that can be pointed out and named as you read through the book.
ABC School’s for Me! would be great for any young child; it is something they can entertain themselves with as they flip pages and find different objects. The illustrations have enough detail to keep them interested for a long time, as they continue to find new things.
