B.J. Daniels has introduced a colorful cast of characters in this Montana town. Along with the Cahill family, there is a whole town of quirky characters: Ely Cahill is a strange old man who enjoys going gold-panning in the mountains near his home since his wife died; Flint, who is busy as the sheriff, tries to keep distance between himself and ex-wife Celeste; and Darby is looking for that one special lady. The setting in the beautiful state of Montana with its wide western blue skies is the perfect place for a wild west romance to flourish and a few crimes of passion to unravel. This is a nice romantic suspense novel that is a quick read – perfect for a weekend’s diversion.
