Little Green said his first word – “go,” of course! Little Green liked the way “go” sounded so he practiced it soft, medium, loud and very, very loud. He bounded into town and used his new word everywhere. Bulldozer and Dump Truck were just waking up from nap time and Little Green helped them get their work done by saying “go” all the time. Everyone was busy building the bridge. The faster Little Green shouted, the faster everyone moved until there was a bit of chaos. Little Green tried to whisper but it only made things worse. Suddenly, a stranger arrived and yelled, “stop.” It was Little Red. Little Green and Little Red started working together until they got it perfect and everyone was able to get their work done. Thanks to them, the bridge was finished on time. And then Little Yellow arrived into town. Go! Go! Go! Stop! offers your child so many valuable lessons including: go and stop, colors and their significance, loud and soft sounds and the importance of working together. The illustrations are colorful and self-explanatory. The pages are filled with details to notice and vehicles are plentiful on the pages. This is a delightful book that your child will enjoy reading over and over again.
