Instead of a big bad wolf visiting three pigs in three houses, he visits a family of three pigs all living in one house and he gets a big surprise. Innocent Little Pig, unlike his parents, is unaware that the Wolf could mean him any harm. He starts off a series of events that turn out to be the kindest of Big Bad Wolf’s life. And the moral of the story is kindness begets kindness. If you can call not being eaten a kindness. This was a cute re-telling of a classic tale meant for early readers or family reading time. The prose was riveting and the drawings pleasant and cartoony. In fact the entire tale was a more pleasant version than the original tale.
