The Little Red Pen was a fun book to read. As the story unfolds a stapler, scissors, pencil, eraser, pushpin and highlighter come alive. They want to save the world. It was a very enlightening and heartfelt tale especially to the writer in all of us. Find out how the supplies save the world. It also had Spanish words entwined in the story. It was a book I chuckled through as the authors imaginations just hit on a colorful story that was very impressive. Packed with great illustrations I now look at my writing supplies differently. Now I know when I turn the lights out in my office, some work things do come alive. I think that Tank the Hamster should have been the paper shredder!
