Have you ever looked at a picture in a magazine and thought “I would love to take photos like that, but I don’t know how to get started!” In The Fast Track Photographer Business Plan Dane Sanders makes that possible. I should start by saying that this book is geared towards photographers who want to become professionals but the principles discussed can really be applied for any business. Sanders discusses using technology and the internet to really grow your business. He also breaks down the importance of molding your business to match yourself and not the market. He strongly emphasizes the need to be creative and stay true to your vision. I may not be a professional photographer but I definitely appreciate his plan, and ideas.
The author wants the reader to be inspired to set their own path. The photography industry can be tough to break into, but Sanders does an excellent job lying out a plan that can easily be tailored to any business plan. This book was very well written and the tone remains positive throughout. I will definitely be recommending this book to my photographer friends in hopes they can put their personal business on a fast track!
