On a sunny day, Bunny would rather read than play outside. When his friends try to cajole him into joining them in other activities, they are instead sucked into the world of make-believe because Bunny has so many books, he can satisfy any literary appetite. Simple phrases and engaging animal character pictures make Bunny Loves to Read an easy read-aloud or introductory book to encourage an appreciation for reading. Mostly written with dialogue instead of narration, this story would be better suited to a comic-book style than that of a storybook. As the animal characters explore different genres of books, parents will recognize many of their favorite classic tales mentioned and children may be inspired to find another story they wish to explore further.
