The kingdom of Lorindar is in chaos: the queen is dead, the prince bespelled, Snow White’s mirror shattered and the prince’s son, Jakob, stolen by Snow White herself. Desperate times call for desperate measures, so Talia (Sleeping Beauty) and Danielle (Cinderella) head off after Snow. Dodging danger from hostile countries, fairies and evil mirrors, they must work to kill a demon that has escaped into the world before it is too late for all of them.

The Snow Queen’s Shadow is a twisted, dark and fun retelling of the tale of Snow White (and various other princesses). Turning the myths on their ears, the characters in this book are not mild, quiet women who sit back and let things happen – they are women of action and can kick some serious fairy butt as well. The plot is interesting, thorny and warped and engages the reader from the start. Fans of fantasy will enjoy this new fairy tale.
