If you have been anticipating the release of the sequel to The Greyfriar, the wait is over. Book two of the Vampire Empire series is available. In Vampire Empire: Book Two: The Rift Walker, authors Clay and Susan Griffith quickly pick up the story line from book one. The Greyfriar is busy saving innocent people from blood thirsty vampires while Princess Adele is preparing to marry Senator Clark. The action starts immediately. Readers won’t want to put this book down until they finish. New characters and locations are introduced. King Jaga and King Msiri of Africa are fierce warriors. Fans will enjoy the return of Anhalt, Mamoru and the vicious and deadly Flay. Adele’s personal and spiritual growth is crucial to the story. Book one touched on her powers as a geomancer. Gaining control over this magic is a major plot point. The relationship between the princess and Greyfriar is also important. Adele and her love are reunited as they fight to keep war from destroying human civilization. Although they are together and their attraction continues, readers won’t be satisfied with the passion. Romance seems eminent, but not in this book. Hopefully book three will be even more magical!
