Where Should Your Lens Flare Go?

Lighting is not the easiest thing to control, especially in the studio. Hollywood Portraits: Hot-Light Techniques for Professional Photographers  explores how to successfully work with light. Author Lou Szoke provides many great tips for photographers. Although the book’s main theme is lighting, Szoke provides instructions on how to maintain and grow a studio, customer service and ways to attract models and maintain working relationships. He also includes lens information and suggests ways to recreate the old studio 8×10’s. Photos are accompanied by floor plans that break down the placement of the lighting used. Any photographer would benefit from having this book on their shelf. It is a helpful reference book that provides technical information and inspiration.
