Love and Kisses Abound!

Mary Murphy’s book, A Kiss Like This, is one of the cutest books I have seen. Many animals kiss, including giraffes, mice, fish, bees, elephants, owls and, of course, you! Each page shows the animals separately and when your child turns a half-page flap, the animals are kissing. The flap allows the book to become interactive and your child will feel like they are a part of the story. The drawings are beautiful, lightly colored watercolors, making the animals whimsical and sweet. This book is filled with a sense of love and will become of your child’s favorite books. Although all the hearts and kisses in the book lend itself to Valentine’s Day, I wouldn’t wait that long to pick it up!
