Each recipe is accompanied by color photos and instructional diagrams, as well as the occasional general baking tip. The last pages of the book have been left blank so that readers can add personal recipes to this already diverse collection.

Mincemeat pies, yuletide logs, peppermint creams, Santa snaps, Christmas muffins – you name it, this little cookbook is stuffed with wonderful recipe ideas. The free-standing book design takes a little getting used to, but it does save counter space. The recipes make very small batches, so readers may want to double or triple their batches if they plan on taking these treats to any holiday parties. Quirks like the lack of cup measurements are a little distracting, but Christmas Sweet Treats still delivers an opportunity for festive baking fun.
