The author’s explore each floor and give context within the show’s framework. Fans will appreciate quick bios of some of the characters as well as occasional bits of trivia.
If a starship company had developed promotional packages for the USS Enterprise, this is close to what would have resulted. It feels as if someone put effort into selling the starship, including just enough information about the celebrities that served onboard and providing all of the specs that a potential buyer would be interested in. There are a number of fun little facts and figures added throughout the book and the included compact disc gives even more detailed looks at the ship. Serious trekkers will like this book and it will make a great gift.
