In Loving Memory of Michael D. Johnson
July 26, 1966 – July 14, 2013
Michael Johnson came to Portland Book Review in June 2012 as our Web Administrator and made an unbelievable impact on our content and viewership. His love for what Portland Book Review wants to accomplish was matched only by his desire to promote the site and make it an exciting and educational experience for everyone. Portland Book Review will miss him in a million different ways.
Michael was a unique individual – he was a complete computer geek but he also mastered the art of relationship building and being a people person. He was well-read, an information junkie, and had one of the sharpest wits I’ve ever encountered. He was lovable, caring and always good for a smile or a laugh. My heart is broken that this world has lost such an authentic soul. I will miss him deeply.
Rest in peace my friend and save me a seat in Heaven!
The Memorial Service is at Ross Hollywood Chapel 4733 NE Thompson St Portland, OR 97213 Friday July 26th at 11:00 AM.
Heartfelt sympathy, also a hug for Ruthie. Although I don’t know her, I’m sure she’s very sad losing her Dad.
All of us connected with PBR are proud to be part of the scene and admire your amazing progress.

Hugs to you and Ruthie! Michael, it was a pleasure to get to know you in the short time we had. Thanks for all your help and guidance! Rest in peace.
Michael – you will be missed. Rest in peace.
Chris, I send you all my love and support.
Dear Chris and Ruthie,
So sorry for your loss! I pray you will be comforted. Hope everything will work out all right for you both, and for the site. I did not have the privilege of meeting Michael. That part is my loss.
Love,
Robin
