Paige has trouble seeing the chalkboard and reading her sheet music. Her parents declare it’s time for a trip to the eye doctor. Of course, Paige doesn’t agree. She can see just fine! Darling illustrations marry with prose, walking the reader through the steps of visiting the eye doctor. We see what Paige sees – an eye chart, a big machine to look through, endless frames to choose from and finally, glasses!

“I can see everything!”

A perfect read for a child nervous about their own trip to the eye doctor or picking out glasses. Paige’s final exclamation, “I can see everything!” will have young readers cheering, and perhaps a little less apprehensive about their own journey.
