Random House Books for Young Readers, $17.99, 32 pages

Toddlers abound in this sweet, whimsical book that teaches opposites. Books Always Everywhere uses cute drawings of toddlers with books and a word. For example, “Book big” shows an elephant, while “Book small” is a book with a mouse.  “Book wide” is an alligator, while “Book tall” is a giraffe. This book cleverly displays the opposites in an engaging way, through toddlers playing. Your little reader will see themselves in the many activities that the book shows. Each page is littered with happenings and it’s easy to make a game out of finding items and events while learning about opposites. The book is simple, but the story and illustrations are engagingly layered to create hours of reading, playing and fun.
