Peekaboo Pals 1 2 3 teaches numbers with cute, colorful animals on a race. Each numbered flap has the numerical number and the number spelled out. A zebra with a caption starts and follows the race throughout the book. Under each flap describes a different animal, the number and a focus letter. For example, “four walruses in a wheelbarrow” focuses on the number four and the letter “w”. Pages are colorful and animals are present but in a smaller drawings, so that the number can be the dominant item on the page. Numbers covered count one to 20 and also 30, 40, 50, and 100.
Each page has lots of things to see and search for, which makes learning numbers even more exciting. Pictures of the animals are humorous, colorful, and exciting and your child will want see who will win the race.
