From 2010, Mel Simons The Movie Trivia Book will challenge your knowledge of movies. For many it will keep you guessing. This book will give the owner a one up on other movie aficionados. Who says tests end when one graduates school? This book has all sorts of questions and Simon has compiled other books of this type before. Trivia can be inside knowledge, which provides illumination to the growing cinematic art form. It also can be pieces of a larger puzzle, which may not have form unless one has a greater knowledge of the subject.
The book boasts 72 quizzes. Some are about actors and actresses, their lives and significant others. There are of courses questions about movies and the roles people played. There are also some special sections on individual actors like Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe, Katherine Hepburn, Jack Nicholson and others. Also included are some famous people behind the camera as well as some famous characters. At $14.95 and with only 720 questions, and no table of contents, the book might be a bit expensive. The book, however, might help separate the fan from the fanatic or scholar who might want all of this trivia at their fingertips.
