Epstein offers design tricks to creatively use counterpane and cable blocks in your work. For example, she suggests positioning the counterpanes at an angle to achieve a unique pattern. In one section you’ll find instructions to make afghans, pullovers, vests, shawls, and sweaters. Experienced knitters can refine their knowledge by learning special techniques. In the Creative Colorwork chapter, you’ll learn about techniques that use two or more colors to create motifs, edging, and patterns. Subjects for projects include dinosaurs, skulls, birds, flowers, cats, and panda bears. Happy knitting!
