Description
All the Best Liars know how to get what they want, and this is especially true for Brie. Brie, Rain, and Syd were best friends when they were little, until Brie became wealthy and moved to the nicer side of town. Now, in high school, Rain and Syd are closer than ever, until Rain’s family wins the lottery and moves to the nice side of town, which catches Brie’s attention. Only two weeks away from graduation, a fire is set and one of them dies. All these three girls ever wanted to do was escape their town, but this is not the way they imagined. With so many lies, will the truth finally come out?
The plot of this book was interesting, but the writing felt a bit juvenile. However, considering all the characters are high schoolers, this might have been intentional. There are no happy endings here, which really makes you question whether friendships are good or if it’s better to be alone. Maybe it’s just a lesson in choosing your friends better. It was hard to put the book down as the action intensified. If you enjoy high school drama taken to the extreme, you will definitely enjoy this book.
