The fight against the Titan pushes them to make sacrifices that can’t be undone and will change everything. The style of the story detours from previous novels which exchanged a crime procedural and supernatural thriller for a bloody war over the fate of mankind. The humor that is well-known in Butcher’s style is still present among the chaos with Harry never losing his trademark wit and sarcasm. Butcher succeeds in making Battle Ground action-packed, heartbreaking, thrilling, explosive, and funny story that is hard to put down.
