Astronaut Scott Kelly has co-written his second picture book, this one focused on sleep. Kelly spent a year in space so that NASA could study the differences which occur in a person’s body if they spend a lot of time in space and to see if there were differences between him and his twin brother. With all those adventures it is important to sleep, and that is what this book explores. Kelly takes us on an adventure from when he is very young and dreams of exploring the world; to when he is an adult hurtling through the sky. Sleep is important to not only provide a place for dreams to come true no matter what they are, but to also provide the energy the body needs to pursue those dreams. The book is designed for parents to read to children at night, especially children who might not want to go to sleep. The language is a bit tough for kids to read out loud themselves, and by the time they are old enough to read the words in this book out loud, it might be too easy for them.
