Description
As an avid reader of mystery and suspense, this psychological thriller by Aimee Molloy takes the cake. Goodnight Beautiful had me in a headlock from the start. The chapters alternate between two different characters’ points of view.
Dr. Sam Statler is a psychologist who is newly married to Annie Potter. After a whirlwind romance in New York, the two decide to get married and move to the small town where Sam grew up to be closer to his mother who lives in a nursing home. Sam tends to his patients, but someone else in the house is listening. The book has a creepy vibe to it as we realize the voyeur has secrets too.
Each and every character in this book is fantastically sculpted by the writer. The plot is fast-paced the whole way through with a completely satisfying ending. I recommend this book to fans of books such as Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train.
