Jade Fire Gold is the story of a young girl and boy: Ahn and Altan. They are very different, but they have both lost something very important to them: their family. Ahn lives in a village. She was adopted by Ama, her caretaker, when she first stumbled into the village. She lives in a world where the empire is strict and cruel and the land is dying. Little does she know that she has the power to fix it all. Altan was adopted by the Sun Master after he lost his family. He used to be the prince of the empire but now he is forgotten, thought to be dead. Altan meets Ahn and realizes that with her help, he can reclaim the throne. Although they lose a lot, both Ahn and Altan gain something great as they discover truths about themselves while on their quest.
