Description
Nowhere to Hide is a book reminiscent of the movies where a group of people decides to go camping or exploring into the wilderness only to find out that there is someone among them who is not a good guy or girl. Seven people who regularly meet at a wildlife reserve decide to go out on Boxing Day to see the murmuration of birds. Of course, they go out at night. The chapters are told from alternating points of view of all seven characters. Lauren, an employee of the reserve, leads the group even though Alec, the know-it-all thinks he is. Emily, Lauren’s younger sister, who Lauren has despised since they were little and in foster care, is a wealthy app developer trying to fix the broken relationship between her and her sister. Morna is a sixty-seven-year-old volunteer at the reserve. Ben, Kai, and Dan are also part of the group. When someone turns up dead, the group knows it was one of their own who must have done it.
Nowhere to Hide is a game of cat and mouse that will leave its readers wondering until the very end. Well written with a cast of colorful characters with deep, dark secrets, readers are sure to pick sides as they guess whodunit.
