Power Rangers Vol. 2
Power Rangers: Volume Two continues with the Omega Rangers and their search for a way off Planet Onyx. The Rangers have Lord Drakkon in their possession, with seemingly no way of escaping, but they aren’t taking any chances as they decide if he is a friend or foe. While on Onyx, the Rangers meet some unsavory characters, including the Princess of Evil, who has a vendetta against the Power Rangers of old. Jason, Zack, and Trini travel through space to distant planets, trying to undo the wrong impression that many have of the Rangers from eons ago while fulfilling their responsibility of doing what’s right no matter what.
If you haven’t read volume one yet, be assured that the characters reference events that might have happened in the previous book, which will help some. I appreciate some similarities in this newer version of Rangers compared to the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Being true to the originals, the Omega Power Rangers did a lot of fighting (with and without zords) and morphing. Their morals stayed true, and watching them in the cells of the book was high-definition and action-packed fun.
