Secretly Yours: A Novel (Vine Mess, 1)

Secretly Yours introduces us to a new cast of characters from author Tessa Bailey. Hallie Welch is a gardener in the town of St. Helena, known for their vineyards. Fifteen years ago she had an encounter with Vos Vineyards heir Julian Vos and although they never even ended up kissing, no one has been able to hold a candle to him in Hallie’s eyes. Now a Stanford professor, Julian is back in town to write his book. What happens is the perfect combination of awkwardness, confusion, and of course, romance.

The book builds up to the two main characters realizing that although they are quite opposite in so many ways, their mutual attraction is almost too much to bear. The beautiful backdrop of wine country and Hallie’s beautiful blooms is a wonderful setting for the story. And although the book is named after the secret admirer letters Hallie leaves for Julian, the story actually progresses well without this part of the book. With steamy sex scenes at the end, lovers of romance novels will enjoy Secretly Yours from cover to cover.
