Description
This book could have used some editing and clarity as its POV storytelling from each different character in the book can quickly become exhausting, and a bit troublesome on trying to keep up on which character you are following on. This book follows Rachel as she struggles with raising her children after her husband, their father, dies. It follows as she learns to love and live again in a local diner owner Adam, and to learn that she had the strength all along. This is a romance book that will tug at the heartstrings, but it does not have the passionate scenes like those bodice rippers and western romance books have, it is more about finding oneself and coming to terms with the past and the all the secrets that are hidden away, often for good measure. The mother might be the worse of the lot, as she struggles to hide the truth from her children for as long as possible and always issuing denials until it is too late, being more upfront about everything would have made everything smoother for everyone.
