Star Wars: Tribute to Star Wars

The perfect gift for any Star Wars fan, Star Wars: Tribute to Star Wars is a collection of beautiful pieces of art created by Japanese manga artists and illustrators. Each piece of art is accompanied by a description of it by the artist and tells why the artist chose to encapsulate that particular image. There are so many different styles in this collection that it is impossible to pick just one as a favorite. They are all unique and worth a thousand words or more. As I turned the pages, many of the illustrations brought me back to when I was a child watching the original trilogy. It seems as if many of the artists felt the same and made their creations based on childhood memories of such characters as Obi-Wan, Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and of course, Luke Skywalker. Some of the illustrations are cartoony and whimsical, yet others are dark with deeply detailed features depicting the Dark Side and the struggle between good and evil.
