Such a Clever Girl: A Tense Domestic Thriller of Hidden Secrets, Unraveled Family Mysteries, and a Race Against Time in a Town Haunted by Its Past

$30.00

Fifteen years ago, the Tanner family vanished from their home, leaving only dirty dishes and a bloodstain. No one knew what really happened, except everyone seemed to have a little piece of the story. Aubrey Tanner, who was fifteen at the time, has returned, but isn’t forthcoming with the answers. Aubrey was always Such A Clever Girl who never did anything unless there was a reason and this time she’s out for payback. She’s going to blow up the lives of everyone who was involved that night, so look out and make sure your secrets are good and buried. || While there isn’t anything too surprising in this story, it’s still an entertaining murder mystery. Once again, you can see how much money plays into having lives full of secrets and somebody usually dies. If you enjoy Ruth Ware’s or Lucy Foley’s books, then I think you would enjoy this one. It’s not full of super deep characters or cleverly crafted plots, but it is a fun way to pass the time. You will definitely be thankful you don’t have a child like Aubrey by the end.
