This reader can think of at least seven good reasons to have this book in their poetry collection. There are at least that many stunning and thought-provoking poems contained in this volume. It is such a delight to be introduced to such fine and thoughtful poets through a book such as this. Patricia Davis-Muffet is such a find. Her poemClimate Anxiety is an unexpected love song to her husband. My Kafka Prose Poem is an ode to social media, and very amusing. The plight of the Jews is addressed by poet Henry Israeli in Escape Artists wherein original identities are hidden, but perhaps not truly escapable. The poet, Victoria Kornick, plays with words in Eileen. Alison Pelegrin and Mosab Abu Toha have also written great poems. I could mention many more, but I leave the delight to you, dear reader, discovering these unexpected masterpieces within this small volume. It is wonderful to see that creativity is alive and well in 2025.
