Description
After reading author Paul Saladino’s book The Carnivore Code, I was thrilled to get a copy of his new cookbook, The Carnivore Cookbook. This book continues what The Carnivore Code started by giving its readers a recap as to why the carnivorous diet is actually a very healthy one and one that has been proven to help many people get rid of disease and illness. This book contains over one hundred meat-based recipes and I have to say that some of them are so unconventional that they intrigued me to the point of having to give them a try. I’m not a huge fan of organ meats but some of these recipes really look delicious. A few of the recipes I would like to try include Shredded Bison with poached eggs and fresh herbs, Carnivore Bread (using pork rinds instead of grains), and Carnivore Tortillas (made with chicken breasts, eggs, and tallow). There are even some delicious desserts in this book including Peaches and Cream Ice Cream, No-Bake Pumpkin Pie, and Yogurt Cheesecake with Blueberry-Lemon Compote. I absolutely love the variety and creative aspects of this cookbook. This book is for everyone who is tired of hearing that meat is bad for you and to eat everything plant-based. Dig in carnivores!
