The Mansion on Turtle Creek Cookbook features luxurious recipes from the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, a celebrity-favored resort located in Dallas, Texas. This comprehensive cookbook includes beautiful photos and shares the history and beginnings of the Rosewood Mansion. It also adds short excerpts displaying the local and regional sources for ingredients used in their recipes such as Broken Arrow Ranch, Tassione Farms and the Mozzarella Company, among others.

Recipes incorporate American simplicity with French influences and local southwestern flavors. There are nine chapters: Appetizers, Soups & Salads, Fish & Shellfish, Game & Fowl, Meat, Sauces & Sides, Brunch, Bar Food & Cocktails and Desserts. Instructions are easy to follow but the ingredients list for each recipe is in small type and hard to read. Long-time restaurant favorites such as Warm Lobster Tacos and Tortilla Soup are included. Recipe combinations are sophisticated yet eclectic such as Spiced Carrot Soup with Gulf shrimp ravioli or Ruby Red Grapefruit Tart with Avocado Ice Cream. If you like to impress dinner guests this is one cookbook to add to your collection.
