There is no doubt that one of the most anticipated movies of 2012 was The Hunger Games. There’s nothing quite like reading a book and then seeing it come alive on screen. If you are a fan of the books and the movie then you need to check out The World of the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This book is a companion guide to the movie and shows some very beautiful screen shots from the movie. The book doesn’t provide any new insight into the world of the Hunger Games and is more of a supplement to what you have seen in the movie. If you haven’t seen the movie then this book would help you put images to what you have read in the book. It is a little disappointing that it didn’t give more background about the movie and how they created the world of the Hunger Games. This reviewer would have liked to see some inside scoop about what they did to bring the Hunger Games to life on the big screen. This book truly is for the avid Hunger Games fans and not necessarily for those who only like the books.
