I grew up with a father who was a novice gardener, so I learned quickly about the joy a garden can bring to a person or family. A garden can help a person mentally, emotionally, and financially. When I grew up and had a place of my own, I knew I wanted to follow in his footsteps and also provide nutritious food for myself and my family. For the past couple of years, I have been growing various vegetables in my gardens but was never taught the “correct” way of doing things.

Gardening Hacks has taught me the best way to grow my vegetables to allow for enriched flavor and utilizing the most space for the plants. I appreciated the fact that every hack pertains to creating a garden on a budget, yet will yield the same fruits and vegetables as someone who spent a small fortune on theirs. I filled a small notebook with ideas for this summer to get the most out of my space and my children’s bottomless stomachs. Anyone with an interest in gardening, both vegetables or flowers, should check out Gardening Hacks to teach an old dog new tricks.
