Infinity Gate (The Pandominion, 1)

Hadiz Tambuwal is a scientist who knows that her Earth is not doing very well and that things are about to get a lot worse. Some of the natural disasters that will have an untold effect on the planet have already begun. She needs to do something to help, or at least to save herself. Then she accidentally stumbles upon the secret to inter-dimensional travel, and this might be a way she can help save her world.

What she doesn’t know is that she’s kick-started a chain of events with the Pandominion: an alliance of over a million worlds, all different versions of Earth. Now there are those after her for her irresponsible dimensional traveling, which is only allowed by those given permission, and Tambuwal soon finds herself in the middle of a great war between the Pandominion and a new A.I. threat.

In Infinity Gate, Carey has written a great first book in a new series, The Pandominion, involving the multi-verse. He’s done some heavy research to bring this hard sci-fi book to life, along with a diverse cast of unusual and interesting characters and a story that will have reader wondering how things will turn out for everyone.
