Katie Shaw is a high school-aged teenager who is in love with Sam. Her parents frown on the relationship and restrict Katie from seeing Sam while unsupervised. The day when Katie rebels against her parents’ wishes is also the day when everything changes. Crime scene tape greets Katie when she arrives home, her brother Christopher having been attacked by a madman.

Years later, Katie is married and has a precocious daughter. Christopher survived the ferocious attack but developed a drug addiction that has estranged him from Katie. The murder of Professor Alan Hobbes will bring Christopher back into Katie’s life. Detective Laurence Page is working on the death of Hobbes and is curious as to who would want the benevolent teacher dead. Video evidence surfaces that place Christopher at the scene and Page’s questions begin to accumulate. The past and present are set to collide and alter the future.

The Angel Maker is the latest transfixing mystery/thriller from author Alex North (The Shadows).
