The Dark Secret (Wings of Fire Graphic Novel #4)

The Dark Secret is an amazing graphic novel in the Wings of Fire series. In this novel, the dragon Starflight is taken back to his tribe so that he can help them reach their goals. However, he learns that his tribe is not what he thought they were. They don’t have powers, and they are cruel. His tribe, the Nightwings, plan to invade the rainforest and take the Rainwing tribe’s territory for their own. They have also captured several Rainwings in order to study their venom. During his time with the rest of the Nightwings, Starflight learns many secrets and makes a new friend. He decides that he must find a way to warn the Rainwings before it’s too late.

This is a very good novel. It is the fourth book in the Wings of Fire graphic novel series, and I can’t wait for book five to be released! The illustrations in this novel are amazing, and the novel is also very well written. I would recommend this novel to kids from fifth grade to eighth grade, especially kids who like dragons and fantasy.
