The Snowman and the Sun is the story of a snowman and his life as each of the stages that water goes through. The story begins with a snowman, already built, who is staring at the sun (not a good idea). The snowman wonders what it would be like if he melted from the sun; then he melts and becomes water. While water, he wonders what it would be like to be in the clouds; he evaporates into the clouds. While in the clouds it becomes cold and he wonders if he’ll turn back into snow; he falls back to the ground. While being snow again, he sees the same little boy as at the beginning of the book and things start all over.

The story is interesting because you learn about the water cycle, but also there’s not a lot of excitement that happens. The pictures were interesting to look at; I couldn’t understand why there was a bee, cat, and fish on every picture, but I made it into a game to find all three of them on each page.
